TITLE: Senior Web Developer
LOCATION: Merida, Yucatán, Mexico
SALARY RANGE: 25,000 to 60,000 (Net) based on experience

Our headquarters are in West Palm Beach, Florida and we have offices in Miami - Florida, Daphne - Alabama, Pascagoula - Mississippi, Columbus - Georgia, Mexico City - Mexico, and Merida - Mexico!

You will be part of an exciting and fast-growing Software Engineering organization that is cross-trained and multifunctional. Your team is responsible for the entire development life cycle of their software engineering, from conception to deployment!

Job Description

• Translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Participation in all team SCRUM ceremonies
• Engineering of client-side and server-side architectures
• Design of visually appealing front-end applications
• Development of OO/MVC Restful APIs
• Debugging of reported issues and writing suitable fixes
• Testing automation of all written code providing full coverage
• Deployment of features and hotfixes to various environments via CI / CD
• Support legacy applications and previously developed systems
• Documentation of developed processes and needed technical writings
• Contribution to a dynamic team environment
• Understanding Best Practices, applying them, and teaching them
• Mentoring, tutoring, and coaching junior developers

Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years or more of Web Development experience
• At least 2 years of Senior Web Development
• Solid knowledge of HTML / CSS
• Expertise in Front End JavaScript / TypeScript languages like Angular, ReactJS,

VueJS or NodeJS

• Expertise in Back End languages like Python or PHP
• Expertise with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or NoSQL
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker, or Kubernetes
• Exposure to DevOps and Clouds like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficient with source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, or BitBucket
• Experience doing team code reviews
• Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture is a plus

• Strong writing and verbal communications
• English spoken and written is a major plus!
